Outstanding Antique Bedspread or Coverlet Ecru Cluny Bobbin Lace & Matching Linen Curtains Book Piece

The cover appears in the book "Linens and Lace" by Tricia Foley (1990, pp.66-67). In a large two page spread, it is displayed hanging in the front window of a renowned antique textiles shop in Brighton, England. The shop is still in business today in fact. Due to copyright I can not show the photo but the book will be included with the sale. It can be reasonably assumed the covers are one and the same. Not only would it be difficult to duplicate the coverlet, this set was purchased by a local dealer as part of a linens lot shipped from England over 15 years ago. An exhaustive search online produced nothing even remotely close.

I have provided measurements of some of the designs to give a better idea of it's layout.

Measurements:

Size: 102" x 85" - Butterflies: 5" x 2 3/4" - Inside rectangle: 21" x 7" - Rectangle circles: 4 3/4" round - Outside edge stars/flowers: 5 1/2" across - Curtains: 102" x 45"

Overall condition is very good. The cover issues are relatively minor and all are repairable. One corner only shows stretching and the other three have come apart but nothing is extreme. Two 3-4" mesh areas above the trim have come undone and one flower/star on the trim has come undone in it's center. There are no other tears or stains and I looked closely (esp after a few hundred photos!). I would imagine the issues arose through handling over the years as they are all along the trim. The curtains show more wear with some pin sized holes and one about the size of a dime. Each has 3 or 4 small brown stains and both have been repaired (poorly) in the lace corners but you would still have to look hard to notice these. One curtain has 2 drops of a hard red substance near the lowest panel and also shows some areas of linen discoloration.
